Welcome to the Cleveland Yearbook! We’re so happy to see you. The Cleveland Foundation has worked for more than 100 years with our donors and partners to help our city grow from the ground up. We love this city so much we climbed atop the Terminal Tower to get a better view. Check out the panoramic photo below to scroll and zoom your way across Cleveland.
Making Cleveland Great
If you care about Cleveland, you’ve come to the right place. Think of the Cleveland Yearbook as a way to meet just a few of the people and organizations we’re so proud to support. In 2014, the Cleveland Foundation distributed a record $98 million toward projects, people, and places in Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga Counties. To date in 2015, we have granted out more than $74.7 million. We provide funding in response to community needs, and we also focus our leadership and expertise on five priority areas, which you can see below:
Greater Cleveland is lucky to be home to generous people with big hearts. As anyone who lives here can attest, Clevelanders will spontaneously organize to support a neighbor, coworker or stranger in need.
Greater Cleveland harbors a vibrant arts scene, from iconic institutions in the city to grassroots groups right outside your door. Cleveland is a cultural destination—theater, visual art, music and dance abound.
While the Ice Bucket Challenge was making splashy headlines in the past year, many Clevelanders quietly continued to open their hearts and wallets, ensuring their fellow neighbors access to basic social services to stave off hunger and homelessness.
This past year has been a good one thanks to the people across Greater Cleveland making a difference for our community. While we come from many backgrounds and perspectives, we are all part of a shared story.
